Refranes Mexicanos (Mexican Proverbs)
The "Refranes Mexicanos", Mexican proverbs, are a fundamental part of Mexican idiosyncrasy and folklore. Lastly, Mexican "refranes" reflect an important aspect of the country's culture. Their short but meaningfull message, the serious advice in a not-so-serious way, the rhyme in it so it can be enjoyed and used at the same time. (Wikipedia)
I love to express myself with “Refranes”. Here are my favorites
"A donde fueres, haz lo que vieres" (To where you go, do as you see)
"Al mal tiempo, buena cara" (To bad times, good face)
"Ni tanto que queme al santo, ni tanto que no lo alumbre" (No so much that it burns the saint, nor so few that it does not light him)
"No hay mal que por bien no venga" (There is no bad that comes without a good)

I know all of the refranes except that one about the saint, i don't get the point, oh wise Bere, can you explain me?
I have more:
